Hello again.
Here are the links related to our lesson about international cooperation (pronunciation practice, again: don't confuse it with 'corporation'...):
- http://www.cic.nyu.edu/;
- http://www.jica.go.jp/english/about/;
- http://www.ipea.gov.br/portal/ (you can always switch to the English version, LOL...);
- http://public.web.cern.ch/public/.
I haven't had the time to check them all yet, but I'm pretty curious about the Japanese one (the Japanese, Henrique, the Japanese, yes! LOL) - oh, did any of you manage to go to Matsuri? Besides meeting a handful of (former) students, I had some mouth-watering fried ice-cream and left the place with two Kokeshis and a Daruma. Thank you so much for the invitation, Lucas. :-)

ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you enjoyed. I should have made you company but I was all busy, fortunately you knew Éder Issao and Rafael Seiji, they are great friends of mine.
ReplyDeleteAnd what about the fried ice-cream? Its good huh? (although I don't know who raised the price, btw I didn't say anything xD).
Do you know the steps for "Daruma's use"? ^^ Its meaning is nice.
Well, see you friday!
I also would like to thank the invitation. I went on Friday and I loved to learn more about japanese culture! I left there with two little mobiles of tsuru. What a beautiful bird!
ReplyDeleteAfter I read something about Daruma and kokeshis. Really interesting their symbology, they are cute so I wish one too :)
I loved the festival! Great music, great food and a nice opportunity to know more about Japanese culture.
ReplyDeleteI ate yakisoba there on saturday, I just hope that Bruno's uncle didn't have used his sweat on the special sauce (internal joke told on Praça XV :P).
