Also as promised, here are the links to:

Can you also see a resemblance between the two videos? :-D Oh, and an extra link:

  • Meet Harriet, the giant tortoise that (supposedly) belonged to Darwin!

Hi there!

P.S.: Sorry, Mariane - I hope you have no nightmares about Harriet! To me, she looks almost like a pet dog in this picture! :-D

  1. I confess that when I opened this page I was a little scared. Mainly because of its open mouth. I think if I found it personally, it must be almost my size, no? My God! :)

  2. Hello everyone. I have enjoyed blogging that I decided to make it a habit, so I am here again trying to incentivise the others. Come on people, let's help Bruna to make this blog the biggest one! :)

Well, after reading the amazing story about Harriet I'm quite sure she was found out by Darwin. It is unbeliveable how a creature like that can survive for a such long time. Could you figure live almost two hundred years? Actually, there are expertizes who have been spreading that in few years (approximately 50 years) the humankind will see the first human who will live two hundred years. Moreover, they have already said that the one who will live a hundred and a half years is still alive, living among us. Due to the boast of health development the ways of preventing and treating several deseases will allow us to live more and maybe to get a pet like that, cause it must be really strange and frustrated to have an animal you are sure will live more than you!

  3. Hello! I only wanted to share this news. Unfortunately it's in Portuguese, but it is very curious. In Amapá, at Goiabal beach, people found a sea turtle nearly 1.5 m! It is very different! On this site there are two pictures of it (http://eltonvaletavares.blogspot.com.br/2012/04/tartaruga-marinha-de-um-metro-e-meio-e.html).
